WHAT HAPPENED

Cousins threw three touchdown passes again on Sunday: 40 yards to Tucker in the second quarter, then 13 and 11 yards to White in the second half. Las Vegas led 17-14 after three quarters and outscored the Chargers 9-0 in the fourth to win 26-14.

WHY IT'S INTERESTING

Las Vegas took Fernando Mendoza first overall and still went with Cousins at quarterback, according to Yahoo Sports' Bill Williamson. Through two games, the offense has run through him: all six Raiders touchdowns came on his passes, and none came on the ground.

Whether that pace holds is the argument. Against the Chargers, Las Vegas rushed for 57 yards, and all of its touchdowns came through the air.
