WHAT HAPPENED
Arizona jumped out to a 14-3 lead in the first quarter. Jameis Winston threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Theo Johnson and Najee Harris ran in the two-point conversion to put the Giants up 27-24, a lead they never gave back. Then, with 11 seconds left and Arizona down 30-24, Jacoby Brissett's pass was intercepted by Banks, who took it to the end zone.
WHY IT'S INTERESTING
It was a sloppy game, and the box score agrees. Both teams turned it over three times: the Giants threw two interceptions and lost a fumble, and Arizona threw three picks. The Giants were flagged 6 times for 44 yards, Arizona 7 times for 55.
Per the Yahoo Sports recap, Arizona averaged nine yards a play on its first two drives by running at the Giants' edge. After that, it says, Dennard Wilson's defense allowed 138 total yards. Arizona finished with 270.
